Wow what a super time I had recently down in Huntingdon, TN! The good folks at WVHR 100.9 The Farm asked me to join them for their live radio show "Fun on the Farm Jamboree" broadcast the third Saturday of each month from The Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center in downtown Huntingdon. The actress Dixie Carter is from the area and the center is named after her.
I absolutely had a ball. It was like being on a wonderful smaller version of the Grand Ole Opry meets Prairie Home Companion so what was not to love. A great big thanks to Kelly Green of 100.9 The Farm for inviting me to be on the show and to Linda K and the rest of the fine staff at The Dixie for making me feel right at home. I'd love to come back down anytime you will have me.
Next week I will talk about my trip to Ada, OK for the Cowboy Crisis Fund an annual fund-raiser I have attended for the past two years.
